Week 3 - Travels

This week, I have been out of town visiting my children in Utah. I haven't had regular access to wifi or Word and have basically been doing school from my cell phone.  However, as I have spent time doing different things out here and especially having the opportunity to attend our LDS General Conference, I have been able to think about the path I am taking in life and my choice to have my own business and become an entrepreneur.  Sometimes I think it would be so much easier to just get a job and work for someone else and let them carry the burden of paying taxes, growing a business and making all of the decisions.  However, I will not be able to control my own destiny and path then.  I know that it is so important to consult with the Lord to receive inspiration and confirmation for major life decisions.  After listening to Conference and feeling renewed, I will take more of my choices and questions to the Lord to know what path I should take as I grow my business.  I loved the Acton Heroes video this week, as it confirmed my own personal thoughts this week on seeking to do things that please the Lord and help us on our personal journeys.
